Creators, artists, characters unite! Sarasota’s newest indie indoor market is making waves. Tucked away in a cozy corner just off Fruitville Road you will find Judy Alexander and her vision brought to life, The Bazaar on Apricot & Lime. With vendors featuring art, collectibles, clothing, jewelry, one-of-a-kind items and delicious treats, this place has something for everyone.

“We fell in love with the building,” Judy says. Its large, industrial feel tempered by the warmth from this eclectic group of vendors sends inspiration down your spine. Every few booths or so you will find creators painting, sculpting, weaving, gluing and dreaming up all kinds of wonderful things.

“Each vendor is unique and exclusive to what they do,” says Kim, Judy’s daughter and owner of The Cocktail Couple, vintage barware and gifts. “I think people come back because of our vendors. It makes a difference when we have each vendor on site creating a retail experience,” she says. Take note of each vendor’s attention to detail in their craft, whether admiring My Fish Out of Water’s painted fish or Woven Totem’s handwoven fabrics.

The Bazaar on Apricot & Lime has more than 25 rotating vendors—making for fun new experiences each time you visit. Whether you are looking for something specific or just browsing, it’s hard to leave empty handed or with an empty tummy.

“Fantastic barbecue in the front,” Judy says with excitement. With Leroy’s Big Boyz BBQ on board, this place has you covered. As you pull up you can smell the sweet smoke and sizzling meat from this Southern-style barbecue stand.

The Bazaar on Apricot & Lime showcases some of Sarasota’s best creators, says Judy. “These [vendors] are all locals and we need to support our locals.” Check out what’s washed ashore with Shipwreck SRQ’s bounty as Shipwreck Patty herself showcases assemblage art. Live music keeps the vibes energetic and light as you stroll the market. You can even have your tarot cards read to bring some clarity to your future. Now, aren’t you excited for all that awaits?

The Bazaar on Apricot & Lime is located at 821 Apricot Ave, Sarasota. Open Thursday, Friday & Saturday 10 a.m.–3 p.m.
