Ellenton Sunday Market

Why We Love It: Set up in the parking lot of the Ellenton Ice & Sports Complex, with easy access from I-75 (as well as free parking and admission), the Ellenton Sunday Market is held from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. each Sunday. The open-air-style market features space for 200 vendors to sell arts and crafts, new and used retail finds, produce, prepared foods, plants, and yard/garage sale items. The entrance to the market is same as that of Ellenton Premium Outlets, which holds 130 stores with discounted, upscale apparel, accessories, shoes, swimwear and home décor items. Make a day (or a weekend) out of an Ellenton visit with a trip to the market and a leisurely rest of the day stocking up on heavily marked-down wares. Mix a little local market shopping with some big-box retail therapy, and pair it with a game of indoor soccer or football at the onsite sports complex.
